Welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Kappa Phi Omega Chapter.
The Kappa Phi Omega Chapter was chartered May 1, 1976 in Florence, AL, and has served the Shoals area for nearly 50 years. Kappa Phi Omega strives to uphold the purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® which is carried out through the current International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, Initiatives which includes:

I.    Strengthen Our Sisterhood
II.    Empower Our Families
III.    Build Our Economic Wealth
IV.    Enhance Our Environment
V.    Advocate for Social Justice
VI.    Uplift Our Local Community

As you peruse our website you will find how Kappa Phi Omega Chapter has engaged with these initiatives as well as our plans to continue to work towards them. We invite you to join us in support of our community programs. See our Events Page/Calendar for open-to-public events.

Along with these initiatives, the Kappa Phi Omega Chapter is proud to serve our youth in the community via our signature program, The Debutante Scholarship Program, which has occurred over the last 33 years. Through this program our chapter mentors high school seniors and provides scholarships pertaining to academic achievement, service, and creativity. Every year we are ever more grateful that the Shoals Community entrusts us with the opportunity for mentorship of their high school senior daughters.
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® looking for a home chapter, Kappa Phi Omega Chapter invites you to consider us! We meet on the fourth Sunday of each month. Please reach out via email for more information.

We appreciate you for taking the time to view our website and learn more about Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and the Kappa Phi Omega Chapter. Most of all, Shoals Community, we appreciate the opportunities you continue to provide as we endeavor to uphold our mission of “Service to All Mankind”.
